During the first Sunday of Lent, Pastor Katie reads from Matthew 4:1-11, reminding us that Jesus’ time in the wilderness reminds us of his humanity. He, just like us, had times in which during a time of weakness, was accused by the accuser. But he reminds us of our rooted resistance to this evil, our love for our father and his guiding hand, which will always guide us to him.
